Book Review: "Living in Lanzarote" by Mike Cliffe-Jones

Published:  January 1, 2009
Paperback:  82 pages

"Living in Lanzarote", is the true story of a family's journey moving from the U.K. to the beautiful island of Lanzarote in the Canary Islands, Spain.

After a wonderful two week vacation in paradise, Mike tells of their decision to relocate to the island, together with his wife Julie, their two children, Josh and Lucy and their dog Tia!

Leaving secure familiar corporate employ to the new and unknown, he shares their account of finding a home, school for their children, and the road that led them to finding the business they love.

You will also enjoy Mike's amusing descriptions of the colorful characters living in Lanzarote and their dealings with the Spanish "red tape".

As a treat Mike offers the reader a tour of the island with wonderful tidbits describing the different municipalities too!

Even if you are not planning to relocate anywhere anytime soon, this is a must read.  You may end up changing your mind and moving to Lanzarote!
